Open Charts and Edit Symbols

Open a new chart from the main menu by clicking Windows > Quotes > Chart or by clicking the chart icon in the main menu window.

To change or edit the chart symbol:

  • Click anywhere in the chart and start typing in the new symbol. The ‘Edit Symbol’ window will populate once the first letter of the symbol is typed.
  • Right click in the chart window and click ‘Edit Symbol’. The ‘Edit Symbol’ window will populate with the current symbol.
  • Click the ‘Chart’ menu and then ‘Edit Symbol’. The ‘Edit Symbol’ window will populate with the current symbol.
